Nick first moved to Wilmington in 1996, and with the help of his sister, he opened Pizza Bistro at the Cotton Exchange in downtown Wilmington. They sold Pizza Bistro in the latter part of 1999, and in early 2000, Nick bought Incredible Gourmet Pizza on 17th Street Extension and at Plaza East Shopping Center. He opened the New Center Drive location in 2004. In October of 2006, Nick sold Incredible Pizza and three days later purchased and started his work on Nicola's ~ Italian with a Twist.
Nick's Vision
Nick envisioned an Italian eatery that was not the typical Italian restaurant. He wanted color, boldness, and creativity. Different! A warm and friendly atmosphere where every dish is made with love!
